There are a lot of places to eat in Noosa.

So naturally, we took it upon ourselves to try as many as possible - purely for research purposes, obviously - and narrow it down to the ones we’d genuinely go back to again and again.

This isn’t a list of every restaurant in Noosa.

This is the list of places we actually loved, and think you will too!

From quick, budget-friendly eats to “okay this is a bit fancy but worth it” dinners, here’s where to eat in Noosa (according to us).

Noosa Junction (best for variety + value)

If you want great food but slightly less polished vibes, head to Noosa Junction.

Light Years (fun, share plates, always a good time)

This place is a crowd favourite for a reason.

  • Asian tapas-style menu

  • perfect for sharing (or not, we don’t judge)

  • great atmosphere

It's great for a date night, girl's night out or even a long lunch (that turns in to an afternoon tipple!).

Plus, they have a set, sharing menu that's really good value!

Monkey Punch (Bargain lunch deal!)

A few doors down - and one of our most visited spots.

  • authentic Thai

  • super cosy

  • big flavours

And the lunch deal? Mains from $12! Which is kind of wild for Noosa.

Someday’s Pizza (because pizza is always the answer)

You really can’t go wrong here.

  • rosso + bianca pizzas

  • laid-back vibe

  • consistently good

We've also ordered this to takeaway and eaten it whilst watching the sunset. Elite.

Sushi Yah-Man (fresh + affordable)

If you want something quick, fresh and not wildly expensive, this is a solid option.

  • great sushi selection

  • noodle + rice dishes

  • outdoor seating overlooking the Junction

Vanilla Food (brunch but make it aesthetic)

This is your slow morning, Instagram, we're on holiday breakfast/brunch spot.

  • smaller menu

  • beautifully presented (and beautifully decorated!)

  • great for dietary options (vegan/GF)

Other really great options at Noosa Junction: Mr Drifter (street food), Flo's (crepes), Leela (Indian)

Hastings Street (best for location + vibes)

This is where things get busier, a little pricier and slightly more boujee. But…worth it.

Bang Bang (non-negotiable)

We’re not being dramatic - you need to go here. You can't visit Noosa without visitng Bang Bang!

  • Asian-inspired menu

  • tapas + larger plates

  • amazing flavours

Get the $65pp banquet Best way to try everything!

Bistro C (for the view + the vibes)

Right on the beach and one of the most popular places to eat in Noosa.

  • modern Australian menu

  • unreal setting

  • perfect day → night spot

Also: chilli coconut margarita = yes

Tip: We love to book a table just before sunset so that you get the day time views of the beach and get to watch the sunset over the ocean. Best of both worlds!

Surf Life Saving Club (casual but iconic)

This is a classic, and probably one of the best views we've seen from a surf club!

  • big portions

  • good food

  • balcony overlooking the beach

Also: no bookings (plan ahead).

Best time? Sunday afternoon with live music.

Other really great options on Hastings Street: Kaali (Indian), Rococo (for the vibes), Boardwalk Bistro (oyster happy hour) Miss Moneypenny's (pizza & cocktails).

Gympie Terrace (best for chill + river views)

If you want: relaxed, less hectic and river views, this is your spot.

Pearl’s Burgers (casual but elite)

Sometimes...you just want a burger. And this is one of the best in Noosa.

  • truffle burgers

  • loaded sides

  • veggie/vegan options

Dine in or take away and sit by the river. Either way, these burgers are amazing!

Depot (our favourite coffee in Noosa)

We love this place.

  • great coffee

  • great food

  • proper brunch energy

Menu highlights: snickers bowl, pancakes and the classics done well.

Luuna Mexican Cantina (our most visited spot 👀)

This is where we’ve spent…a lot of time.

  • frozen margaritas

  • nachos

  • burritos

Plus: daily specials, good prices and a fun vibe.

Final Thoughts

Noosa’s food scene is honestly so good, and this list could’ve been much longer.

But these are the places that stood out, we went back to and would recommend without hesitation.

So whether you’re:

  • after a quick bite

  • planning a nice dinner

  • or just chasing the best margarita in town

…you’re covered.

Other really great options on Gympie Terrace: 250 Grammi (pizza), Noosa Boathouse (take away fish and chips or dine in seafood), Gusto (modern Australian)
